the stash
Introducing a new kind of post: “nibbles”
Just like the edible kind, nibbles are the posts that sit in between main meals. Stuff that is fantastically shareable, but without all the bells and whistles. Makes sense then, I guess, that my very first nibble involves a whole heap of between-main-meals kinda food.
So here’s my stash from the Good Food & Wine Show:
- 4x packets of Lavosh with pantry tin- $10$142
- 2x delicious magazine showbag including cheese storage unit from tupperware, tuckers gourmet crackers, la zuppa soup, ferrero rondo 3-pack, dilmah tea & other assorted goodies – free with subscription ($55)
- Gordon Ramsay “cooking for friends” cookbook – free with Good Food subscription ($40)
- 1x box of Bagel Crisps (garlic flavour) including 8 bags of the stuff – $5 (at “stallholders discount”
- 1x bottle of sparkling mount franklin mineral water – free!
- 1x bottle of lemon ice tea – free!
- 1x bottle of peach champers + 1x bottle of strawberry champers by Fresita + 1x complementary bottle of peach (again) – $6 (after splitting a mixed 4-pack with Suze)
- 1x silicone whisk + 1x silicone hot pink spatula – $15
Total: $142 & a couple of really sore feet.
(Worth it? Absolutely!)
[psst! onebitemore is flyin' about Asia at the moment, so please bear with me if I don't get around to replying to your comments straight away. much love!]
