a reminder: quick noodles
Confession: I tend to get caught up in the whole complicated-and-beautiful-food business. It’s silly, I know. Food is appreciated just as much when it is thrown together (lovingly!) in five minutes as when it takes two hours of painstaking waiting, rolling, mixing and baking.
Thank goodness for mothers, then. Especially mine, who put this on the table on the day of making that crazy ol’ chocolate tart (posted here & here) in the time it took for me to dash upstairs to wash the chocolate off of my elbows and eyebrows.
Heartwarming. Nutritious. Soothing. Delicious.
(must try get the recipe off her whilst fending off her declarations of “but Cheh, there is no recipe!”)
[psst! onebitemore is flyin' about Asia at the moment, so please bear with me if I don't get around to replying to your comments straight away. much love!]
